COVID-19 - Job Retention Scheme Claim Guide

Dear Client,

We sincerely hope that you and your families enjoyed a relaxing Easter break and managed to make the most of the glorious weather we were lucky enough to enjoy.
 
We write as promised with the eagerly awaited guidance to apply for the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme grant. As you will know the portal only opened yesterday morning so we have been exploring, testing and writing guidance as quickly and thoroughly as possible to help you with this process.
 
We were very disappointed to see that the HMRC calculator (that we hoped would help you calculate the furlough claim) was below expectations.  So, in true NannyPaye style, we have made our own and I find myself again being thankful for your patience in giving us these hours to create this tool and draft our guidance. 
 
If I could ask you to extend that understanding by contacting our office with queries on claiming the grant only should it be absolutely necessary, otherwise we will be beyond our service capacity.
 
Finally, we are issuing payroll slightly later this month as we note many more clients than normal are submitting late changes to us.  We are allowing these clients to finish updating accounts then payroll will be issued.
